Start of the 26th conference on Applications of Computer Algebra – ACA2021

Description:

Starting today, the 26th conference on Applications of Computer Algebra (ACA’2021) takes place in a virtual setting until next Tuesday, July 27, 2021. Dimitris Simos, the leader of MATRIS Research Group of SBA Research, serves as the program chair. The conference is organized jointly by Ilias Kotsireas (University of Waterloo, Canada), Michael Wester (University of New Mexico) and Dimitris E. Simos.

ACA brings together researchers worldwide working on all aspects of computer algebra and is a forum for collaborative exchange of new results and ideas.

This is the first year of the ACA-ERA (Early Researcher Award). Special thanks goes to Ilias Kotsireas who initiated this idea and secured funding from a number of sponsors. We hope this will establish a tradition of honoring and encouraging researchers early in their careers who are interested in computer algebra applications. We had several fine nominees this year and each one deserves recognition for their research and service to the community.
